I hate how they redid it(the Sarlac) in the reworked Star Wars trilogy, that stupid parrot mouth looked awful, he should have just left it alone.

Everything should have been left alone.
Lucas is now a common methophor used in colloquial language offering the meaning to when you did well at something then fucked that something up.
For instance you made a delicious cheesecake absolutely perfect and even used new ingredients, successfully.
You take it out of the oven only to sprinkle a fine black pepper (possibly thinking it was cocoa powder).
Your friend takes a bit spits it out and yells..

"Jesuzzz dude (cough) --Hak uuuh. Unngh you - (whoa)
..totally George lucas`d this cheese cake .. Bwaaa ` spit` .".
