Huckabee, arguably, is a better speaker than Maher. I remember watching the Republican Primary Debates and man can this man talk his way outta a paper bag.

I almost agree with Huckabee. But logic is against him.

I believe he died and that he rose again.... wait a minute You mean like the other messiahs that people worshiped long before Christ. No one ever thinks on a time line. That takes out all the BS and gets down to the cold hard truth. we are alone, we do good things for superficial rewards whether real or not. The Fact is Reality is what it is and no amount of glamor changes that fact.... I guess this is my manifesto.

I think both sides made good points. Maher won the debate tho, and I could see Mike start to reuse phrases in the debate which meant he was grasping for straws.

I`m a Gnostic Christian, and am pretty much considered a heretic by the catholic church for my beliefs.

The Gospel of Thomas is the earliest written testament of Jesus, but it isn`t included in the bible, because it says that you do NOT need to go to a church made of wood and stone to worship. It also says that you don`t need to give money to the church. I feel I don`t need to do these things, but I just need to live a positive life. Thats the moral of it all, just don`t be evil. Organized religion goes against Jesus` teachings anyway.

please don`t vote me down just because we disagree on religion i`m just offering a different perspective on the topic... remember I`m more of an outsider than atheists, agnostics and definitely mainstream christians.

Man Bill Maher is ridiculous. This man does not truly believe that religion is improbable. He doesn`t believe in science and attacks religion for the mere notion that it just `sounds` ridiculous and not because of the fact that it lacks evidence and that it is improbable.

Hmmm... could have sworn that I saw this on Spiked... well, if it wasn`t posted before I`m glad to see it now. I was very impressed with the way Huckabee handled it. He seems like a good guy, and i did like him when I saw him running for the Republican nomination. After all, he did get the Colbert bump and even Chuck Norris endorsed him. His views on evolution are disturbing however...

i`ve met mike huckabee. he seems to be a very honest person. i dont agree with many of his beliefs, but he`s a good friend of my father and what i know of him he`s a good guy, just doesnt think and believe like many people.

props to him tho for being able to discuss this topic without getting red in the face, more than one can say about bill o`reilly types.
