Everyone should aspire to be like him, the world would be a much better place if more people emulated him. Sad to say that an 11 year old has bigger balls than me, but i`m fine with it. Shame he had to go like that, at least he`ll be remembered by more people than most.

I think the question to ask is, if he never got leukemia, would he have been driven to do something good in his life?

Not saying anything bad against him and there`s no way to know, but I`ve always been curious about the so called "good" or saintly type people. There`s always something horrible in their past that triggers their behavior.

A kid in my high school got leukemia as well, and instead of going this route he took the sex, drugs, rock `n roll path and decided to do everything bad he could with his time left. He ended up surviving though. I think he works at a Starbuck`s now. Unfair world I say.

Too bad this is just entretainment, or am I lying? Just think, how many people have inspired you in all your life making a true radical change that endures until the end of your days? Normaly these changes are of little effect since they fade away in a week or so. Why do you need to be proded around to make a difference?

There`s an inspiration void in this world that has been compensated with emotional highs, I`ve seen this since I was as young as this kid, that`s why I used to say "fuck Gandhi, Mother Theresa and Jesus, who cares about them if we have all these problems and we don`t do shit unless we want to be like somebody else? We need to learn to excersice our own will rather than rely on somebody else."

its not about him doing a nice thing. It`s the fact that with his last wish, a wish that can grant him a trip to hawaii, disney land, ect, or pretty much anything he wants.... he chose for something that did not benefit him in his last hours, but instead benefited others. That IS different then what others do, because most people, myself included, would use that wish selfishly.
