^idiot, watch the vid and learn something for a first.

This is EXACTLY the kind of unarguable promotion of real modern medical science we need. Thanks for the post.

Hopefully this will go far and they will work out all the kinks. Treatments like this are desperately needed.

If Lex Luthor got his hands on those stem cells, we are all doomed.

The problem is billions of dollars a year are made by drug companies to treat these illnesses. Those same drug companies will be without a industry if stem cells are made 100% safe. Where money exists in turn the vacuum of it will remain. There will have to be a fundamental change in our government and the people running it to make those companies think less on capitalizing on illness and more on curing them.

This is truly amazing. Having a red blood blood disorder as well, this is simply an amazing jump in modern science. While my disorder does not have as many adverse affects on the body as sickle cell, I have had to go through surgery, take a good amount of medication as a child, and even though I am mostly fine now any children I have will have a 25% chance of going through this. The only thing I wonder is say this advancement does work and say you take some of my skin, turn it into a cure and it works fine for me, hoorah. Now my question is will my genes still carry the disorder, or will they carry the `cured` genes? Will the children of these cured people have to be cured as well?
But still this is amazing, and they did it in a way that the religiousy crazy people won`t whine about. Bravo modern science, bravo.

Great upload.

First thing that surprised was that Pfizer were the sponsors of the show...? Pharmaceutical company as far as I know.

They should have chosen another narrator, that guy`s voice was driving me insane.

I`m pretty excited to see where we will be in like 40 years in terms of medical progress.

Btw, what ever happened to those guys who were regrowing limbs with a spray, and creating organs with a printer? You`d think that would be bigger news....
