I saw a report about how the CEO`s of the big 3 car companies are all still traveling in luxury with their private jets, and I can`t believe the nerve they have to ask us for money while taking $20,000 flights everyday and making millions of dollars every year.

Next time you guys are driving look to see how many GM and Ford cars, trucks, HD trucks, vans, and goverment vehicles are out there. If we dont bail them out the US will be so fucked. The car companys pay so much in tax`s every year that when they get back on their feet the loan we be paid off very fast. And if GM and ford are gone there will be so many people that rely on their pension`s, well who will take care of all the old people?

I believe if we are to bail out anyone with government money (direct bail outs, subsidies) their books should become as transparent as the regular government`s, we should be able to know every move they make with the money we have given them.

fagbag: The question isn`t whether or not they do good for the country, they do unquestionably do by giving jobs and paying taxes. The question is if giving them the bailout will actually save them. As it is right now, if you give them the bailout it will not last them very long and they`ll probably come back within a few months asking for more until everyone has had enough. It`s bad investment pure and simple.
