Ok regardless of the intention, they still didn`t really DO anything. 5 years in prison for bad intentions doesn`t seem fair to me.

It makes sense if you look at it as a deterrent for others not to commit the same act. I`m sure that if they where caught after having sex with a minor the sentence would be longer. But seriously it makes sense to become a priest if you want to do that, how many of them went to jail??

Crazyguy, what kind of help are you going to give a teacher who shows up with condoms, among other things, so he can have sex with a 13 year old kid? How do you "rehabilitate" somebody like that. Have you ever been around people like this? I have. Help or not, these people keep doing it. They are addicted. They need to be put away.

Oh, did you watch the part on Joel? Maybe not because he was getting the help you talk of, and he STILL showed up! OH! How about Kennely there!? He`s been getting help for OVER a YEAR! What do you have to say about that?

studies have shown that there really is no help for people with these kinds of sexual attractions. its not their fault though either. their brain is just wired wrong. weather it be due to trauma at a young age or issues during child birth or who knows what else, its they way they are. and that is that. they have tried physical and chemical castration to no avail, extreme psychological support, 12 step addiction programs, everything. they simply do not work. but given that information; prison is really unfair. considering how expensive it is to keep a guy in prison for a year, it would be beneficial to start a program for people like this where they can live a normal life inside a restricted access facility. i know its sick and twisted to think about what these types of people would like to do to children given the chance, but its outside of their realm of control, they simply can not be rehabilitated like your conventional criminal.

This is one of the best shows ever made. It ruins these guys lives, which is better then doing time. I for one am glad that now Mr. Kenelly(or whatever his name is) will never be able to come within 200 feet of a school. just sick.
