That`s not bunjee jumping. They are using climbing rope. It is very stretchy, but they are basically swinging in a semicircle that is the length of the rope, plus stretch.

Balls of titanium. Especially the very first guy over the edge. I would do that, but not first.

In case you haven`t figured this out yet, this sport is called Rope Jumping. Dan Osman a legendary speed climber and Rope Jumping pioneer died doing this. He did the world record jump of over 1000ft free fall, he left his gear there afterwards as he was tired and came back a few months later to pick it up-he decided to do one more jump before packing it up but the rope snapped...

^thanks Thorno. Would look it up if there was anywhere near where I live that this was at least possible if still insane. Alas, there isn`t. These guys certainly have a top notch spot to use. Will look it up further just the same.

i went real bunjee jumping last summer in whistler and skydiving the summer before that. i still haven`t figured out what i`m going to do this summer to get that stomach-in-mouth feeling..

Paragliding is a very affordable form of aviation, I got my current kit second hand and the entire thing costed me 800euros or 1000euros with training, which is incredible considering it is an aircraft and it can fit in a back pack. You can set up within 10 minutes and be up in the air. Depending on you abilities and the weather you can stay up for hours on end and fly as high as conditions will allow. The record being well above 4000meters. You can do acrobatics with paragliders which will definitely give you that stomach and mouth feeling and you can also compete or try a version of paragliding called speedflying. Speedflying involves a much smaller wing which flies more heavily loaded which gives you a lower glide ratio but allows you to reach VERY high speeds while flying very close to the ground. You can scream down mountains with very sharp banked high speed turns and take off cliuffs and drops with a smooth fast glide- VERY fun but also dangerous. Paragliding and speedflying are affordable and easy to learn-0 check em` out on the web or go to paraglidingforum . com to read up more on it.

P.s. you can also try DH Mountain Biking in Whistler BC during the summer, tons of fun as well- I race Dh my self and would also highly reccomend trying it but be prepared to take a few spills ;)
