Police Dash Cam Captures Man Shooting At...

WHARTON — After a Wharton County man was sentenced to death Friday(November 07/08) for killing a state game warden, the parents of both men embraced and cried, sharing the enormity of their losses with each other. Condemned killer James Garrett Freeman`s mother and father crossed the wide gulf of the courtroom to console game warden Justin Hurst`s parents and express remorse for their son`s actions. And Hurst`s parents hugged them back tightly, making clear they did not hold Freeman`s family responsible.

Banning guns in the US is just going to increase the number of unregistered guns which would make the gun impossible to trace back to it`s owner if used in a murder.

what if they passed a law saying that EVERY home had to have at least 1 handgun, and every adult had to carry one, do you think there would be More violence, or Less violence? it`s really anybody`s guess what would happen, but if I had a criminal intention, i would certainly think twice if i knew everyone could and WOULD retaliate.

You know, back when they made that ammendment to bare arms, they had weapons equal to what any militia had. Obviously, over time that changed a LOT.

The point of allowing citizens guns is to ultimatly keep some sort of power in the peoples hands, our founding fathers were for us, the people. Not the government.

the parent`s upbringing, or lack thereof for that matter, may have had a direct role in the reprehensible lack of human life value that the criminal demonstrated in this video.

you know one thing that bothers me about gun users? Their argument in support of guns saying they want to be able to defend their family, but they own like 200 guns. Thats a little overboard. Or how about the people that say they want to hunt, but own a bunch of handguns and/or refuse to try bow hunting. Its annoying have people like this hide behind the 2nd amendment when many of them own and use guns for reasons that obvioiusly are not why the 2nd amendment exists

People say guns don`t kill people, people kill people. While this is true how come the U.S has the highest gun deaths in the world per captial. Canada has more rifles per captial then the U.S and we don`t even come close to the amount of deaths the U.S has due to guns. There`s a problem there and generalizing it to my first statment is why it continues and will continue.

Icecream forgive me for calling you an idiot if you think that bow hunting is a good alternative to hunting with a rifle. Also its not uncommon for hunters to carry handguns with them, especially if they are in an area where like are likely to run into predatory animals.

Secondly, gun owners stating they want to defend their families have a legitimate argument. From what? Burglary? A government thats turning corrupt? How many guns should a person own for that 1 or 2?

The second amendment is there so people can own guns, if they want to own a lot of guns good, thats what it is there for.

Gun control is one of the few areas that I break with the liberals, I live near Detroit and I damn well know that the police are not there to protect me...they are there to write up a report and call the ambulance to take my dead body to the morgue....and if we were to make gun ownership/carrying rights illegal then the only people who would have/carry guns would be criminals.

Americans are, crazy. Hence don`t allow anyone to have a gun, therefore, crazy people are a lot less likely to get a gun. England for example seems to subscribe to this idea. There`s like a 5 year sentence for having illegal weapon there.

^walla, there`s a big difference between Australia and USA as far as violent crime goes, and I doubt increased gun control would make a bit of difference. We had more strict gun control when Clinton was president. It didn`t work. The US is quite simply fucked up. The problem is much deeper and more complicated than simply the means to carry out a crime. I would argue that overpopulation, drugs, class, materialism, and prejudice all have more of an impact on the crime rate than gun laws.

The fear of Obama`s new gun control laws has sent gun sales skyrocketing lately. My roommate just bought his SECOND AR15, matching glocks, and bigger clips for all three guns that will also be banned if the laws go into effect. And he`s never so much as shot at a rabbit, he just loves guns. He goes shooting frequently, but only targets inanimate objects. I know one thing for sure, I have no fear of this house getting robbed, as he keeps a loaded 9mm hidden near his bed, and all the other guns are in a safe.

Guns already purchased will not be outlawed or confiscated, but you will not be able to purchase banned guns if the new laws are passed.

My roommate told me the owner of the gun store said that Barack Obama is the best gun salesman in the world, as he has been struggling to keep up with the demand for many of his guns lately, especially the AR15.

I`m glad Obama got elected over McCain, but seriously, STOP TAKING OUR FUCKING LIBERTIES!!!!! I don`t need a god damn babysitter.
