I understand this is like a new sort of gameplay, but the part I don`t understand is why is so hyped about this style of gameplay. You are just bacially running around building, I guess enjoy the scenary along the way but other than that, I truly don`t see what so special about it...

It looks kind of like tony hawks if you ask me only your on foot fly across gaps grinds and so on oh and you get a gun.

That colour make`s me think of portal given how much white is used.

But yer there is no reason for this game to have so much hype its the same as most other game`s run jump kill basic fps stuff.

I tried the demo which is out on xboxlive now, when u get the hang of it it`s really cool, and I can see why it`s addictive. When you just keep running and kick down enemies and stuff and just keep going, with a great flow that gave me some adrenalin.
the demo is really short though.

It`s got good hype because it`s starting to imitate real human movement, albeit very exaggerated since it is a gaming experience after all. Starting to get to the point where you can manipulate the digital body and world much like in real life.

Instead of having worlds that restrict your movement to a set path it allows you to actively explore and use the world to enhance your gaming experience. Otherwise you might as well stick to wolfenstein3d
