Right first of all congratulations to President Obama.

Here`s a little prediction of mine.

The media are going to be all nice to Obama for maybe up to a year. But this will not do, Obama coverage will get lower ratings so they`ll try (I emphasize try) and bring him down, all of them, fox cnn etc.

This post is dated so I`ll be able to see whether I was right or not.

Wait, politicians have been using "empty rhetoric" for centuries (hell, not to mention the Greek democracies), so why is Obama being targeted for this?

I mean, he`s not even President yet for crying out loud. Should he fail to do anything to improve the United States, sure, let`s most definitely criticize him. I`d be as angry as anyone else, especially since I voted for him and he failed me and the country.

But he hasn`t failed or succeeded yet.

In regards to the supporters, I have yet to run into anyone like that. Whether he or McCain would have won my general daily life goes on. I think that goes for most.

You guys are all missing the point. The Onion is complete satire. The are making fun of people complaining about Obama supporters. They often do stories like this, take a regular complaint, and blow it out of proportion.

It is funny, and I am a Obama supporter. Hell they could have done one on Ron Paul supporters not having anything to talk about on the Internet anymore, or Comedians not having Palin to make fun of anymore.

The fact that Euthphyro thinks this is actually anti-Obama supporters is just as funny as the clip :)
