Someone should show this to Bill O`Reilly ... he could learn that it`s possible to have a different opinion from someone else but still engage with their views and treat them with respect, instead of just calling them a pinhead and shouting them down.

I do not agree with Mike Huckabee but he is doing pretty good in this interview. He`s acting like a decent human being. I guess he didn`t get the "Fair and Balanced" pamphlet from Faux.

I just cant take Mike Huckabee seriously, from the other videos i have seen this seems to me like he is just reading off a teleprompter. Unless his IQ has increased dramatically since the last time i saw a video of him.

I always have a hard time listening to an intelligent person saying they truly believe Jesus died and was resurrected. If you believe there`s a higher power of some sort, ok, we don`t know much about the origin of everything yet. But the resurrection of a man who is his own son mothered by a virgin? Come on, that`s on par with Xenu and isn`t that far off from an awesome Jerry Springer episode.

Religulous dives into many more questions and logical "disprovings" of religious faiths. It was quite entertaining to see.

The biggest thing that I take away from this clip, which Religulous was full of, is the pointless and ridiculous answers to important questions. Most people from the movie that practice and believe in religion have a glaze over their eyes and recite very familiar lines in answering questions about their faith, usually not logically. You can just tell that Maher has a lot more scruples and depth of thought than Huckabee.

I gotta say, I thought the "if there is a God, why is there so much evil in the world" argument was stupid. I mean, if there is a God, how could he stop evil from happening? If I really want to, I will pick up a pencil from my desk, walk out and stab someone in the eye with it. No God can stop it, nor will he be able to stop any other kind of cruelty which I plan to do, exercising my free will.

If there is a God, I`m assuming he watches us like we would when we examine an ant hill. What a single ant does is trivial. There may or may not be a God, but that`s why it will always be up to us to make this place better or worse for ourselves.

Other than that, good interview.

Even thou I`m not a big fan of Bill and hes religious views, he made a very important point.

"I don`t know, and you don`t know either."

Way too often I come across atheist that claim to know the truth about god, which as Bill said, only mirrors the religous belief

Slayzer, I completely agree with you that that`s how a God would act. The point Maher is making is that Christians believe that God takes a very personal interest in not only the behaviours but also the thoughts of everyone. Someone with that much power (if he existing) could surely do a better job at reducing suffering.

Razzle thats a fair comment, Personally i believe there is a form of god.. I would say i am Christian but I don`t hold up with all that church bullshit. And one of the things I found through questioning my faith is that. God never said hey I`ll fix or your problems if you prey to me and love me. I Get the impression that he basically says. "Hey look if you wanna come in to my place there are a few rules, well actually there are 10, I`m giving you your time to do as you will. Do what you want say what you want believe what you want i won`t interfere that`s a whole free will thing i aint going to rape your brain. But if you want in my house, you`ll take notice of my rules and just chill it all out. I have no problems with anyone questioning my faith, I also have no problems with someone sharing their differing opinion. What i do take umbridge with is people trying to force their beliefs on me personally or other people. My faith is my own not yours or anybody else`s and if your try force it on me or someone else. I`ll exercise my free will and punch you in the throat.

We are all responsible for our own actions, don`t let someone else decide yours.
