To most Spiked users watching this video, please read:

America needs to start voting in order for its people to really care about the political process and what happens when what they wanted for the country goes awry. i.e. president bush. You all know as well as I that the true patriots of a nation are those who are unafraid of questioning their country and its actions. That said, how can any movement for or against a cause be constructed when the origins of said cause (the voting process) are not being decided by more than a relative handful of people? This is not necessarily promoting a candidate, allowing its message to reach all viewers instead of subduing a whole other side of voters. its a message that expounds the importance of the most sacred right given to any American under the Constitution. Its a tragedy when it is willfully not exercised. For all of those cynics on the reason spielberg made this video or how shitty the actors are anyway, you either dont live in America or you dont care for America and shouldnt live in it (no offense intended). I am a libertarian and wanted Ron Paul to be elected until the possibility of that happening waned out. I am 18 and now pulling (and voting, of course) for Obama, and all that i can say is that it is a shame to me every time i hear about the minimal percentage of political participation in the form of voting in America in comparison to our European counterparts.

This video`s message is simple: voting is important. And i like it.
