I think Mccain is as incompetent as some spikedhumor posters, but coverage by the media of this election have been terribly biased. I love it when they make fun of Mccain and what they say about him is true, but Obama have been so relatively unscathed by the media except from faux news its remarkable.

Faux news cater to the conservatives, and what they call "liberal" media is metaphasizing into the true liberal media... where is a guy like me in the middle to stand?

I think the reason the media has laid off Obama so much is because he`s not trying to cram a bunch of bullshit down our throats like McCain is.

Yeah, if McCain and Palin provide a lot of idiocy fodder for the media of course they`re going to jump on it. Some people seem to be suggesting that if the media reports McCain / Palin saying something stupid, they should also go dig up something stupid Obama / Biden have said to even the balance. I think the proportion of stupid stuff reported should be relalative to the proportion of stupid stuff said.

What I didn`t find funny about this was that there was a sense of Maher doing comedy wheelies on some pre-victory lap. And I`m voting for Obama. If your jokes rely upon junk like relating a candidate`s worthiness to be an American citizen to the size of their family, then--eww, just get some writers with better sense. You`re just giving sound bites to the other side on their 2nd yard line, to make a football analogy.

There is still an election to deal with. Let`s save the knob gags for after.

What does the media have to protect McCain against? The reason the media has to defend McCain is because they`re reporting the truth. If one side isn`t throwing mud, there`s nothing for the media to clean up.
