There are no facts supporting creation. You have no location for the Garden of Eden, no support for the fact that we are all descended from the same fully developed, single pair of human parents 4000 years ago. You have no theory for how human migration flung us to the far corners of the earth in only a short timespan. You have no facts supporting creation, only "belief".

For those of us working on facts, we read the facts that are shown to us. In religious language, we read the facts that God reveals to us. They are not perfect, but they are the things we see and we are trying to understand them.

As a religious person, you should be be concerned that God won`t be angry at you for not understanding the wonderful and complex world he created for you. He gave you a brain to understand the world he created - used it, or face his wrath on Judgement Day.

focusing on whether there is an eternal power or some sort of force in the universe (most likely not) and debating its existence is far more worthy then dealing with crazy bible bashers

There truly is no debate here to begin with. Scientific theories must follow the scientific method; the end. Until creationists present an alternative theory that you can go about proving -doesn`t- work (the most basic requirement for ANY theory), it has absolutely NO basis in a science class anywhere, anytime. I have no issue with them trying to tear apart Darwin`s works; the more they fail to prove on a SCIENTIFIC level any inaccuracies, the closer it moves to undisputed fact.

And I`m sure many of you have heard this old joke but:
The debate between religion and science ended when churches started putting lightning rods on their steeples.

i came across the wrong way.
I meant that there is obviously is no debate on science and religion due to lack of ANY evidence on religions behalf.
But even bothering to argue with people who believe in the 6000 year old universe (for example) is ridiculous.

You are confusing Evolution with Abiogenesis. Evolution mereley deals with how life forms change and adapt once it`s already gotten here. Abiogenesis deals with the origin of life.

While Carl Sagan`s theory, known as Panspermia, that life came to Earth from outer space may or may not be true, (Yes, even the best of minds are fallible. ) it raises more questions than it answers. (Like where said alien life form came from.)

Now, Abiogenesis isn`t as well researched as Evolution, so there are several leading theories and models being researched and experimented on nowadays. Evolution, on the other hand, is as clear as day and denying it is a notion that is four times as invalid as denying that the holocaust ever happened. (It`s true, the percentage of historians who deny that the holocaust ever happened is four times greater than the percentage of scientists who claim that Evolution is bunk.)
