Batman is not PURE human skills. He`s still fantasy. He went to some insane martial arts school or something, how many humans do that? Look at Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, and whoever else you might recall, do they fight crime. Do you think that if Bruce Lee had Bill Gates` bank account (or Gates with Lee`s skills) it would really create batman? I don`t think so. I guess the real difference is in the *kind* of fantasy superman is and batman is. It`s the kinds of assumptions we have to make to create either one of them. For batman it`s that some crazy martial arts + tons of cash + troubled childhood + access to a high tech military defense lab (which money can buy anyways) makes a super hero. I mean there must be people who are super rich and know how to fight...
On the other hand, with superman we have to assume that there are beings on other planets. It`s kind of like Star Trek but before humans got into space themselves, like that movie First Contact. Except in the superman`s case, it`s too early for humans to even go into space "for real". So for us to believe in superman we have to believe in aliens (just for a second), to believe in batman we have to believe in super richness and super martial arts skills.
Another deal with batman, is that sociologically speaking (I`m talking real world here), from a Marxist perspective, super rich people are created by taking control over some kind of public resource and monopolizing the market (i.e. Bill Gates monopolized the personal computer market and forced us to buy his software). Whether you think Gates "gave" us windows for our money or not, doesn`t matter here, because you wouldn`t be able to prove it with real facts. The point is that in places where there are super rich people, there are also super poor people. Super poor people, despite their lack of education, see the inequality of the situation they are in and if they disregard a bourgeoisie morality towards private property they will steal, hence "crime" is created. So to believe in batman we have to believe in capitalism and its righteousness. So the real source of crime is Bruce Wayne from a realistic Marxist sociological perspective. In essence this cartoon (and its predecessor which was linked to by Old Hungry) is political commentary on the batman movie.

It`s not an issue of fair/unfair. Sorry for the length and disorganization. I can write fast but don`t really want to go back and edit, it takes too much time. And also my thoughts develop as I write.
