Or as a reflex he hits you, you fall to the ground and will be eaten slowly. The others might join the feast to speed things up (death).

I would just stand still like that guy did and if it attacked me I would hit him or attempt to make as much noise to scare it.

If I had a gun in the truck I would jump in and hope the lion wont follow to kill me because, If It did i`lI would have shot him.

Lions don`t attack people indiscriminately.

They only attack things under two occasions
1) territorial disputes of male lions, and
2) hunting in packs

The man was standing 2 times as high, so he must`ve been seemed too big for the lion. Besides, he wasn`t posing any threats, so the lion pack didn`t see any motive to attack him. Lions, like many predators, don`t eat other meat-eaters, but I`m sure they won`t care about humans.
