Can you please upload a debate between Dr. Kent Hovind and whomever you like. He has done several debates, some against one Dr. at a time and some against several at once. All of the debates you upload question the existence of God. The debates I am asking for is a question between creationism and evolutionism.

^ You can`t argue with an observed fact so I wouldn`t see the point in debating evolution.

From what I`ve heard of "Doctor" Kent Hovind is that he a moron. There is no debate on the topic of evolution. Any serious biologist/geneticist/radio chemist/geologist/zoologist doesn`t question the fact of evolution by natural selection. The only thing disputed about how evolution functions is the specifics on the mechanisms of gene proliferation, that is it my friend. If you would like to watch a good docu on the subject look up "the Genius of Charles Darwin". Or just use these links which are in order of Part 1, 2, and 3, enjoy:

Thanks psychologyprofessor for yet another awesome Hitchens debate posting. I was LMFAO at a few points. It`s sad that very few religious people are anywhere near up to the task of really debating him. Turek managed to babble on about this and that, but can`t even understand the answers he WAS given.

One of the points I kept thinking was about where do you get morals without god? Me and us. Why is anything right or wrong? Because you say so, and I say so. I`m a more demonstrable moral authority than god, and so are you, thanks. Hitchens didn`t seem to put it in so few words, and although he is a little over my drunken haze with his extensive philosophical background, I suspect that`s essentially what he was reffering to with the discussion of "the inner deamon".

Anyways, great stuff, thanks.

^ Yeah, Hitchens was actually trying to make Turek`s questions a bit deeper I think. He could have answered them just as Exploder did, but he probably figured that was too simple to be what Turek was actually getting at.

As for "Dr" Kent Hovind, you are much better off with Turek Computermexican. Hovind is woefully ignorant, quotes old, junk science, and tells even worse jokes than this "Dr".

For example, Hovind does indeed argue that Carbon dating is unreliable for fossils.... to this I respond "fucking duh!". Scientists don`t claim it is. Carbon Dating is reliabale for organic material, and recent changes in material (50,000 or so years if my memory serves me).
Other techniques are used for ancient fossils. Carbon dating doesn`t enter into a t-rex`s age. And that is basically how all of Hovind`s arguments work. Lie about a scientific claim, then "disprove" it in order to sell more videos to help with his tax fraud :)

You should especially check out the link that Analysis most of Hovind`s ridiculous claims.

Hitchens is pure intellectual, and always appreciate more of his insight. Turek however I am not very familiar with, and am kind of glad for that. Christians always seem like salesmen to me. Always trying to sell their God/s.

Atheism is also driven by faith. A contradiction to it`s beliefs. It`s as stupid as any religion can be.

Bawhahaha Kent Hovind? Are you serious? Hes one of the most ludicrous men alive. Watch him speak for 5 minutes and he`ll have you balling your fists in anger at the insane things he tries to pass off as science and at the same times laughing out loud at how silly he is.

I don`t see why people believe dinosoaurs and men did not walk at the same time. I mean we have people`s first hand accounts of this, such a Dr. Turek. You know Turek...the dinosaur hunter.

edit: too bad he is not actually a young earth creationist

This video was not awesome. Turek did a horribad job of defending a `there is god` view, and allowed himself to be baited into using Christian arguments by Hitchens.

Hitchens often didn`t answer questions, posed questions to Turek w/o letting him answer, and was overly disrespectful to his opponent.

I much prefer Dawkins to Hitchens in this setting, because he`s not a big headed toad. I declare this debate a loss on both sides, you can even see the moderator give up hope for a structured debate 1/2 way thru.

yeaaaaaa Virginia in the house. I just want to help Turek and state that those attributes that decide our humane understanding of morality IS a God given grace. Our conscience. Our soul. Our attitudes in the world and how we share it amongst one another is our choice and what defines us as individuals. You either listen to the God in each and every one of us or you choose to ignore Him and eat the apple. Simple as that.
