Nightwish has been around longer than Evanesence. And no, not christian. It's a "gothic" band. And, Amy Lee is only a better sing if you see it that way...if you don't, then she's not. It's a matter of taste, not because you say it's so.

I hate nightwish, and lacuna coil, they sound like to shit to my ears, but evenesence are good. amy lee is well fit.
Metal with operatic female (or male voices) isnt good music. its just someones farsical attempt at trying to marry two genres and failing badly.
Ever notice that lacuna coil and nightwish arent exactly on the top 10/20?
Ever notice that Evanesense are?? hmm???? hm???

evenesence is just some pop music while lacuna coil and nightwish are real gothic metal

evenesence = exposure on tv (like britney spears and compagny ect..)
that explain why they are on the top chart because the noob that listen music get to hear them on TV

I'm getting sick of people badmouthing Nightwish.... if you don't like it, don't listen to it, don't ruin every ones day by complaining about it... I'm not going round all of your favourite bands to say how much they suck, am I?

Nightwish is not a rip off of evanescense, nor is it so the other way around, they both have a very different sound, and if you can't hear this, then you shouldn't be listening to music, and certaintly not whining to other's about it.

Evanesence suck really bad,they try too hard to be metal but they suck like shit.This song is so nice, Tarja has such a beautiful voice, too bad she got kicked out of the band. And Tarja CAN sing, unlike Amy Lee, her voice is nothing special, tarja's voice is.
