Wow, that's pretty interesting. I agree with paintist though. aging and not aging should not be considered as problems. They are all part of the natural cycle of life, same as life and death. Very interesting! I would never want her to become a lab rat or anything like that. But, her genetic structure should be studied, and we should find out what/why this happened. Maybe even derive some kind of cure, or medical break through. If she is the only human in the world with this syndrome. Then we need to learn more about it.

if they did find a cure to not age, it would most likely make it so you don't wrinkle up and look old. kinda like an illusion you are getting old inside but the outside looks young. Hell, I think pets should be the first immortals. I mean, shit, they didn't even get a choice to be your personal entertainment for the rest of their lives.

Oh and, we arn't evolving anymore in society. For evolution to work people need to die in games of survival, and that's no longer an issue. Not only that, I don't even think you'd live long enough to really give a shit about evolution and some theory you read about in an elementary class. If anything, I expect "hyper-evolution" to become a reality, where humans are evolving themselves through science rather than millions of years of genetic reconstruction.

there is evolution going on even with the advancements we have today just not in much noticeable amounts. Little things like height, and defense against disease gradually change with each generation. I read an article not long ago that a study found a lot of fat kids today seem to handle the negative effects of being overweight better than generations before.
