Run DMC opened the door for rap artists everywhere! Rap now has DISGRACED the true form! Ex-cons are aloud to make millions, still commit crimes and get away with it because record companies have to make money. What a pathetic world we live in!!! If Osama gets elected, you`ll be rapping the ebonics version of the Star Spangled Banner!

^well said numnums..I couldn`t agree more. I`m a fan of the old school stuff but I haven`t been a fan of modern hip hop for years now. It`s all about bein a gun-toting gangster these days and actual talent seems to be unnecessary as long as you have a lengthy criminal record. Also notice how they were able to have a rap battle & nobody got shot or beat down. There`s no way you could do that today..have 2 rival MCs together on stage for a peaceful face-off like that. They would bring their guns & posses and it would be total chaos.
