^ Why the implication that all dinosaurs were stupid? The therapods that birds evolved from were pretty damn smart (based on size and complexity of the braincase). Some paleontologists theorize that had they not gone extinct, troodons might have achieved human-level intelligence.

If birds ever evolve thumbs, look out!
