yep i got done too in Australia i was 17 at the time so no charges were made just an interview and the cannon went to the balistics testing.

However a disposable camera rewired into a sort of taser thing works much better for these cannons BBQ lighters pissed me off as the flint would fuck up and they would just become gay.

We had one that launched skinned tennis balls. They squish down into the pipe over and over until finally they split from repeated explosions. Huge range.

Dad and I made one when I was a kid. Australia. Someone reported us and the local cop (small town, single cop) came around and he asked us to show him how it works. He didn`t take it away. Just told us not to use it anymore.

Anyway, in Canada they are in the grey law, i use to have one and shoot potatoes close to a highway so nobody would hear me. Have you ever heard a potato gun fired empty, its pretty funny cause its sound like a jet engine!
