Not sure... He just seems like an annoying, pompous dick in this interview... am I the only one who thinks so? I had nothing against steve or apple before this. His products are pretty decent(although unduly expensive)... but i think he might be a real ass.

Bill Gates is really down to earth, normal guy and very professional.

Steve Jobs is pompous, non professional and seems to snob Bill Gates.

I think they couldn`t represent more their companies than this.

Well Steve Jobs never actually graduated and built his fortune through his entrepreneurial skills and Bill was a geek that once had the brilliant idea to put a price on something that was free. I don`t really see why both of them should have spite for each other. Bill has more money any person could ever spend and Jobs just gets money for making something that was already made to be more accessible to dumber people.

What we have today in front of us is not due to competition. It`s because of demand and supply. Furthermore, how can Apple be a solid competitor to Microsoft? Think for a second. PC`s are vastly superior than any Mac. It`s as if saying marijuana dealers are a great threat to cocaine dealers.

Apple is for people that like to spend more money for things that PC does for less. Macbooks with same specs like normal laptops cost 1.5 or even 2 times more....

Apple`s do system security FAR better than XP/Vista systems, which is why OS X`s built in firewall is considered sufficient, and there is virtually no need for anti-virus or spyware apps.

Also, the recording industry, when it comes to recording and production, aren`t slaves to pop-trends - they`re slaves to sound quality and the ease of workflow... which is why the industry standard is Mac Pros plus Logic Studio alongside Pro Tools.

The only thing PCs do better than macs are games - which become kinda irrelevant when you become an adult... but even if you are desperate to play all the latest games, you can use bootcamp to install XP/Vista alongside OS X, and then the PC games of your choosing.

Steve may be a douche but damnit, I love my iPod tough, my 24" iMac and my wife loves her iPod. Why? BECAUSE THE DAMN THINGS HAVE NEVER-EVER-EVER CRASHED! The laptop running Vista has crashed with the BOS twice in the last week.

I think you have no idea about what you`re talking about. Macs cost several times as much as a regular PC and really does not give you any benefits other than aesthetics, but working as a technician I see many people with their pearly white Mac Books scratched to fuck and with grime all over them. Seeing this makes me laugh so hard because these people spent much more money on a laptop that looks "Pretty" but they treat it like shit showing that they don`t even appreciate the ONLY advantage of Macs. That being said There is only one reason why you usually don`t need anti virus for a Mac. NO PROGRAMMERS GIVE A FUCK. Why spend your time creating a Trojan/keylogger/or spywear for an operating system that has a marginal market share. Hackers are in it for 2 things. Money and fame. So why attack a small market share for either reason when there are Millions of other targets. 500 bank accounts from PC owners is better than 5 from Mac users. I can guarantee you that if Mac and Windows market share were equal both would need Anti Virus because Hackers are far more flexible and adaptable than an OS will ever be. As for Bootcamp on Macs....You are still running a Windows OS. The thing all Mac users whine about day and night without understanding how to use it. Bootcamp just allows you to use a Windows operating system and install it on a virtual PC. A virtual PC slows down overall performance on both systems and therefore makes a Mac even more retarded because unlike on a PC, YOU CANT DUAL BOOT more than one type of OS. If I for some bizarre reason decided I don`t want to get any good use out of my PC and wanted to install Mac OS I can spend a few hundred dollars on Leopard or w/e shit they are developing and install that on a separate partition. Within 1 hour I will be experiencing marginal efficiency and a cluster fucked OS. Combine this with the inability to upgrade parts makes Macs an overpriced, proprietary electronic fashion statement, nothing more. Also many studios are switching away from Macs as a whole. You still get the teenager wannabee producer that listened to the Mac Salesman thinking he will get better performance off a I Mac that will hang when you try to edit large files or do any multi-tasking but its alright because you are so busy smelling your own farts you don`t realize the lag.

And now that I`m done dispensing bile I`ll play some FPS, a past time I enjoy since I own a PC.
