lmfao! This review was hilarious. I remember being so disappointed when this movie came out. It was nothing like the game at all and was truely as horrible as this guy says.

It just goes to show, when you have a successful movie and turne it into a video game, the game sucks just as equally as when you have a successful video game and turn it into a movie. :P

Well yes, but this movie wasn`t made by the same people that made the game. Hollywood simply bought the movie rights to it.

Both Final Fantasy movies were made by the same people that made the games. So naturally they turned out just as great as the games.

This is why most games that are turned into movies, or visa versa, turned out to be mediocre at best because the original creators are usually not involved, and so those who re-create it, think their work with the name of the already popular movie/game will be able to create a lot of revenue just on the basis of popularity alone. Sadly, they usually always bomb.

Say what you want I still love the movie. C`mon you`re watching a movie that was based on a video game where the marketing audience was anywhere between the ages of 8-16 plus some creepy single old men.
Mario in my book is the shit no matter how you spin it.
