Jesus Christ why can`t we have any original thinking in game development now days it is really not necessary to kill a brand in order to make a few more bucks.

Regardless what people say.. I can garuntee this will be a shit game. In fact I can almost garuntee that all the episodic games you play from now often will be mainly shit with the exceptions of a few titles..

I loved halo 1... halo two was more or less the same thing, not too bad, but for me halo 3 was just a total let down... the graphics, the gameplay, the ai... its just, well a typical shooter... maybe cuz I was so excited about the 10/10 reviews I was expecting too much, but I`m going to keep my expectations low and give this game a try anyways

Any halo game will more or less get excellent reviews pretty much regardless of the quality of it, I blame the fanboys...fuck `em. I agree with zeroenna, however this does look like it has the potential to be different but I`m willing to bet it`s the same old mediochre crap and it`ll still sell millions regardless.

Fuck all you Haters Halo is sweet its a mad fun game and the story is pretty cool itself. Myself I`m a big story person, as long as the gameplay is good and story is awesome i generally like the game. Of course Halo is the same thing how do you change up an episodic story, also how do you justify additions that could have been made previously and continue the continuity of a story? It`s like Metal Gear and all its Haters they either Hated it because they were shit at it and couldn`t play it or because that style of gameplay wasn`t for them which is understandable. Generic Shooters are very much that... Generic shooters how can you create a fantastic single player story when you know your main pull is going to be multilayer and vice versa.

For those of you who want something more and different your going to be disappointed, for those who want a fuller story providing some aspects into the back story of the covernent`s attack on earth your probably going to dig it. Personally i know i will because i like the Halo story I`m reading the novels now.

Unfortunately for us all Games are becoming more cinematic and less about gameplay. I hear people bitch and moan about the game not changing but take a look at the Diablo Series that`s still pretty much the same, sure you add in new characters and a talent tree but its the same basic principle.
Halo is the same, you flog something to death till it cannot make you any more money then you revamp it and release it as something new that is all.

just by looking at this, its given off the aspect of maybe being more "dark" so if they mix things up a bit, it may turn out ok, i look forward to seeing some in game, then ill make my decision, unlike you people slating this game, when you know nothing about it.

5/5 because the trailer was cool, and i like the look of that new gun.
