Toytools Gravity Desktop

Cool Japanese invention. Amusing for a while I guess. Perhaps it uses the acceleration sensor in the laptop to mimic the gravity effect. (I also hear it's going to be the next Spiked Humor Prize ... so expect the winner to be announced in 2029.)

10/5 for the description alone. Where`s my PS3? I know a couple people`s computers at work I`d love to install this on.

Is there a place to download this software? I`m sure users of macbooks and other laptops with accelerometers would enjoy it.

Programmers with any decency would have made an ANTI GRAVITY desktop.

Like we don`t have enough shit falling down these days.

I get enough of gravity in RL. This makes for a cool video for sure, but it`s bad enough when I have to rummage through the pile of shit on my floor to find my shoes. I expect my computer to be as easy as possible.

Won`t need an acceleration sensor for that one mate, just program in the whatever constant you want gravity to be and bam! Falling stuff!

That`s a Thinkpad. Thinkpads were the first laptops to have the gyrometer in-built as a standard feature. Other laptop manufacturers thought it was a good idea too, and copied it.
