you guys throw around the words socialist/liberal b/c you`re trying to non conformist or go along with idiots on FOX.

With the rise of global economy and complex technology and increasing interrelation across all human existence, we gone past the age where we just leave things alone. We can`t let the market just go free, companies to dump w/e they want in the environment, or to go to war without serious consideration for culture in general.

We are advancing and changing in so many ways that we have to keep careful watch over everything and make sure it all doesn`t go wild. As depressing as it sounds, we can`t just let everything go by itself.

What Bush has done in the past 8 years is

domestically:
Tear down environmental laws
let free market go free market
lower domestic spending (education, healthcare, social service etc. etc.)

Foreign policy
Pretty much do everything with brute force without any governmental limitation

The result?
Katrina, fall behind in education, get fat, stock market crash, a social security and health care system about to consume everything, offshore drilling, and global warming

Iraq, Guantanamo bay, a rejection of the Tokyo Protocol, most of the world hating us, wiretapping, etc. etc.

If you want more of the above, b/c the words "liberal", "socialist", "a black educated man who at least understands the nuances in our economy and the complex world we live in in the white house", scare the shit outta you, there`s nothing i can say.

McCain for all his maverick status has gone along with Bush more than 90% of the time, he`s a "maverick" b/c he disagreed with Bush on some headline issues that have very little actual effect on our daily life in general. McCain is a Bush v. 2.0 at heart. Palin is an idiot who knows just about nothing about the economy or foreign policy but will blindly go along with the neoconservative agenda.

I got a little carried away but loud, meaningless, ignorant, unsupported statements piss me off. But it`s such slogans and false labels and flashy stupid talk that got Bush elected and our country as it is.
