That looks trippy. Awesome. I wonder how long the liquid lasts before losing that property?

^ that is what I thought too. Especially since when they poured a few into that glass, they didn`t show the bottom until they were already in it.

This is more FAKE than Sarah Palin`s foreign policy experience.

Calcium bicarbonate does not exist. Pshaw. At least try to fool us with a real salt, eh?

Heating that purported calcium-containing brew will not turn it purple. And it definitely will not become any less polar, as he claims. The only way to pull marbles out of this solution is to put marbles in there off-camera. Putting your hands in it will make you smell like vinegar.

Take home lesson:

Following this procedure will cause you to waste those ingredients, your time, the gas you burned to heat them, and a little bit of your dignity.

"Ionized" salt? "Calcium bicarbonate?" "Polar hability?" This is nonsense and double-talk.

I was about to say, the moment the caption came up with "ionized" salt more than once, you know it`s some bs.

The only way you can ionize salt is if you put it in solution, or heat it up so much the crystals themselves ionize into some kind of salt plasma, lol.

WIKIPEDIA: Calcium bicarbonate (Ca(HCO3)2), also called calcium hydrogen carbonate, does not refer to a known solid compound; it "exists" only in a solution containing the ions calcium (Ca2+), dissolved carbon dioxide (CO2), bicarbonate (HCO3–), and carbonate (CO32–).
Ionized salt could be ioDIzed salt.

Still very shady because at around 2:31 one of the "balls" falls out of the container. Then at around 2:34-35 you hear something hit the floor with a marble sounding "thud".
Hmm..

^Even though the pot says "Iodized Salt" (which does exist) and the caption says "Ionized Salt"

Ionized salt is a combination of regular table salt, sodium chloride, with a small amount of an iodine salt, potassium iodide. Iodized salt has gained popularity in some countries because iodine is needed by the thyroid to function as deficiency in iodine can cause the thyroid disease called goiter.
