woooo, I live in Newcastle, this is our only claim to fame lol. Well, this and Lord Armstrong.
The car park bit was actually in gateshead, and they knocked down that car park a few months back. Shame that.

I can`t believe anybody would even dare say that the remake is better. This film is an absolute masterpiece. I live in Newcastle too, the carpark in the film is not yet knocked down, however it is no longer open to the public, and is to be knocked down next month. Seriously, go and download or buy this film it`s brilliant.
