As someone who has taken acid, this is nothing like an acid trip. You still see everything how it is normally, but there is like this kaleidoscopic light effect surrounding everything. And everything seems like it is viewed through water because everything seems to be moving and wavy. Oh, and on acid, you get this INCREDIBLE body high and start to analyze everything. Definitely try acid before you die, it will change your outlook and perspective on a lot of things.

I love a bit of cid once in a while. Went through a stint of doing a shitload. I disagree with the above two comments. Although they are correct that it just makes mad light stuff happen. It`s really hard to explain, you do have to do it to understand. One time, at my buddies, I dropped three of them and it took a little while to kick in, about 40 or 50 mins, just had a few spliffs while waiting for it to rip my head apart. Then bam, I noticed in the corner of my eye an intense glow coming from the gap around the closed living rooms door. It started to look like the door in ghostbusters when that dog motherfucker bust through the chair to get sigorny weaver (or however you spell it). But when I looked straight at it, it dissapeared. then the windows started cycling colours realy badly. I digress with blissfull memories. My point is, yes it`s just colours and sounds, but your imagination tends to find patterns, and thats when you can see mad stuff. Car`s are also baffling when tripping, if you are with a sober person driving while you are observing on acid, it`s utterly mind boggling to the point where it sorta freaks you out. Although when I drove on acid a couple of times, it was second nature. Odd. Moral of the story, theres a time and a place for mind altering drugs, it`s called college :)

You have to watch this movie. It`s fucking hilarious.
In short the main dude is a stuntman who is trying to raise money to get his stepfather a heart transplant, so that he won`t die, and he will be able to fight him, beat him up and prove that he is a real man.

On the subject of acid, yeah the trip is just colours and sounds and all your senses becoming mixed up and shit, can`t really explain, th3dood gives quite a good example.

But anyway, if you want to try shrooms for the first time, eating them really does taste like shit, so cut them up into little pieces and mix them in with ice cream or yoghurt, my two personal favs...
