The economy is already destroyed, America has a National Debt it can never ever repay and its getting to the stage where it will be impossible for America to even afford the interest on it (i.e. it cant even stop the debt from growing).

^ america realised this a long time ago, they also realised no one could force them to pay back their debts because the dollar is no longer backed by anything apart from the US military.

So they rack up as much debt as they can, knowing that before they even start to pay it back, they will bankrupt the dollar and therefore not need to.

They have left themselves with only 2 choices, bankrupt the dollar or use the military to fight the creditors when they come knocking

It`s that fact that the Central US (IE. Dumbfuckastan) thinks McCain is worthy of leading this nation. I have no doubt he can be a great military leader, but our nation is controlled by banks. It doesn`t matter how good of a leader you are if you don`t have the money to back your decisions.

It made me sick when McCain got the nomination and it made me want to die when Palin got in...

America is fucked up! First read "The Book of Revelation" face the doomsday before you face the economy. The oracle predicted precisely what`s going to happen in 2012, if you have seen the historical channel. That is true only to an extent. They denied the 700 Billion dollar Bail Out Plan. That means people are getting informed. Ron Paul`s message is heard by some people. Probably not the majority of the people, but people are slowly being aware of the movement. That is a good thing. Let`s just hope it continue to grow into a nation wide movement.

Because our government has learned from past mistakes. You have several options when your back is against the wall. For Germany, they started two world wars and almost won both of them. How? The people were starved, desperate, angry. The closest America came to that was the Great Depression which lasted a very short time. With an angry nation you can motivate people, because people always blame others for their demise (See the American Negro for more reference)

What is different now is that our Geovernment is trying another similar tactic. Give people enough of what they need: A home/Apartment/Condo, Food, Clothing, a Job and the illusion that it could be much worse. Show places like the Middle East, Africa, Chechneya and show how chaotic small parts of those area`s can be. You then say to yourself "Wow, we got it good!" so no one is pissed off, no one is angry, no one will start a fight. If people can get the above basic needs, they will never risk those needs for change, for the risk losing everything and will gain nothing. Look at whistle blowers in the past, what happened to them? They lost everything, the gained nothing, all for being just and right? Was it worth it? They all say NO!

All you have to do is watch a 5 part BBC series called The Century of Self and particularly watch the Freudian part about how he convinced America and America`s women that smoking cigarettes was ok. Why? The tobacco companies wanted more profit and women didn`t smoke. Through media manipulation, the same we use today, he was able to market cigarettes to women and bring in millions. This method applied to all aspects of life, even military and government levels.

We are facing a mental/psychological war because most people are genuinely too stupid to look behind the curtain. All you have to do is simply turn to your local church and see just how easily people are coerced, manipulated, destroyed and parted from their hard earned cash.


If none of you can see this, you`re one of "them".

Nothing will change.

Voting doesn`t matter, your elected officials are predetermined in America.

Your vote doesn`t count.

YOU don`t matter.

^ You make good points, but I disagree with the last few bits that votes don`t count and such.

Take the African American movement for example. They struggled for over a century to earn their freedom. If people back then have said the same message as you are preaching, then nothing improves or progress. You can`t sit there and tell people your efforts don`t count, or your votes don`t count. If it doesn`t, then they would`ve voted yes to the 700 billion dollar bail out plan. But they didn`t. Why? Because people spoke out. They didn`t have a vote in it. They had angry voices. Enough of them to make a difference.

Come November, I`ll be out in the polls voting. Will you?

Everytime I look at vids like this on spiked or youtube, there`s always some guy going "it`s hopeless, we`re all gonna die!!!!!!!" or shit like "we don`t matter, we suck, our country is fucked" and the list goes on...
I think it`s funny how, in a country that takes pride in patriotism, that so many americans have this kind of mindset... as if not doing anything can solve the problem... and im not even american... i feel sorry for the state your country is in... both in terms of government and in terms of the learned hopelessness that seem to be manifested within parts of the population...

^What you are both stating is simply a mentality of the past. You look to past efforts as signs of progress. For example, did the Berkeley California protests stop the Vietnam war? No, instead the national guard came out and killed a student. The war ended when our government gave in after 50,000+ soliders died, on our side.

Have any of the protests recently about the Bush administration worked? No. Why? Because there is so much misinformation, so much disinformation, and too much information to understand the situation.

Looking back in the past, yes there was progress. In the Civil War there was progress, but over time that system has not worked, it has become weaker, and as it stands today it does nothing. Protesting does jack shit.

The bill BARELY got knocked down, by 6 people! I hardly call that a protest. What will happen? A new bill with the exact same ideas and methods, worded differently. This financial crisis will simply get deferred to 5-10 years later, and then we will have no option.

America and Americans need to stop helping those that are too stupid to help themselves. People that make minimum wage buying a house with a loan they couldn`t possibly comprehend. People getting 10 + credit cards and maxing them out. People buying Cadillacs and Hummers but still living at mommy and daddy`s home till they are 30 or in an apartment. Too many people on Wellfare rather than being forced to get off their ass and work, or perish.

We make it far too easy for the losers of this country to prosper, while the respectable, hard working, honest people pick up the fucking tab. I for one know the solution, but it will never happen.

Everyone would have to stop paying taxes come April 15 2009. If everyone, or nearly everyone protested by not paying their taxes, THAT would send a message. This will never happen, because there are too many cowards in this country to collectively think about the situation and do something radical, different and non violent.

The government needs our money.... stop giving it to them.
