no, the crisis was caused by goverment spending that devalued the dollar and the federal reserve`s tampering with the market, in a pure free market system (and not this crony capitalism the american government loves so much) we wouldn`t have problems like this

in times of a crisis the public is to willing to blame freedoms for the problems when it always traces back to the government, we blamed presonal freedoms, and we get the Patriot Act and we are blaming the free market and we will get socialism
