it looks good, but the technology for that to be so responsive isn`t really reality yet. plus they were playing on a bored. what would clapping have to do with waking he thing up? there are no microphones built into the ps eye

^well.... it`s kinda designed more towards the casual gaming generation of kids who purchase Wii`s and those who don`t want to have to clear shit up behind their pets or bury them in the garden when they have.... expired.

The Eyetoy for the PS3 doesn`t have a built in mic but the camera reacts to contact on certain points of the screen. Whilst you can hear the taps - the game reacts to the tapping of the central area of the screen. Think of it as an invisible button.
