Explain one thing to me: Why would you put a picture of the incomplete (albeit fully functional) Death-Star on your currency?

The real reason behind the Rebel Alliance: the Emperor needed to shore up the flagging Imperial economy by digging into the taxpayer`s pockets. Unlike our world, in the Star Wars universe people actually gave enough of a shit to crack out some X-Wings and blow the crap outta some rich guy`s stuff.
