That was, as always, great to see. I know there are going to be some Travis haters posting, & this isn`t even about his accident, but he is a great drummer. What is a drummers job? TO LEAD THE BAND! To PLAY THE SONG! He does that, & he plays with passion. I`ve played with over 20 different drummers over 20 years, & there was 1 that I always knew, with a broken ankle (our 1st show), dropped or broken stick, headache, psycotic episode, pissed at the world, etc, he was always fucking spot on... And that is the MOST important thing in a band, & as a singer, my ego shrinks back a little bit, saying that. That drummer went on to be in The Riddlin` Kids, the band that did "I`m All Right", if any of you remember that....His playing isn`t fancy on that, but it`s solid as hell......

Anyway, great post!

Love the fact that they were doing a show for free, from what i heard. Its just nice to see them giving back to there fans a bit. Too bad about there accident and friends they lost in it.

I saw the VMA´s they were playing there, then the next day the plane crashed, private jets are always more unsafe than comercial airlines planes.

it was alright, I wouldnt quit your day job though. I was more impressed by their luck: surviving the plane crash and getting semi-popular in the music buisness

i heard they jumped out to avoid the crash and took their chances with free falling and were engulfed in flames and patted each other out until helped arrived....also heard the other 4 passengers were screaming for help while being burned alive inside the wreck but the passerby could not do anything to save them.


way to take control of the situation called life Travis and AM! Definitely deserve to live in my book.
