If i remember right, the earth`s capacitance is far too small for any signifant storing of electricity and Tesla never bothered with the idea to use it as something that could only return DC. Hence, his wireless transmission towers and the famous demonstrations and photographs of him powering lights using the earth as a conductor and sometimes wirelessly from across the room.

Tesla was the king of most things involving electricity, radio, and communication but, many people have had ideas surrounding the transmission of encoded information and different networks and I`ve yet to hear of any significant evidence that gives Tesla any credit towards the development of the idea of the internet.

The date of the book 1934/1932 perhaps but the Internet was invented in 1910 called the Mundaneum. The Mundaneum had "computer" screens.

The Mundaneum was created in 1910 out of the initiative of two Belgian lawyers. Paul Otlet and Henri La Fontaine aimed to gather together all the world`s knowledge and classify it according to a system they developed called the Universal Decimal Classification.

1910 NOT 1932/1934.
