I`m in the beta and I have to say that this is the best C&C game I`ve played to this date.

The Online play is amazing; everything is so fucking balanced, every unit has it`s own counter in it`s own unique way and everything seems really fluid.

The Navel combat is a gigantic breath of fresh air. Being able to build structures on the water and the naval abilities in general in this game adds this whole new dimension to the RTS genre, It makes the player have to think more and allows for much more strategic deviation.

There is this player points system which was taken from generals which awards the player for the amount of damage done to the enemy, this adds this new layer of game play which makes the player have to think about the units he sends out. For every unit that is killed by the enemy is a player point for him/her. This means you need to care about the units you send out and whether they die or not.

What makes this game really different from the past C&C games is the Ore Nodes, this makes money grabbing really easy so the player can focus on war instead of boring ass harvester micro.

I really dont think its possible for anyone who has even heard of command and conquer not to find that trailer absolutely fucking amazing, though peter stormare line at the end just made it the best trailer ever.

If a company makes a trailer like this, and shows they know what their fans really like, and they push all the buttons. They deserve more from us than to download it, plus the special edition comes with a t-shirt, so im in.

Personally, I think it`s something of a bad sign when a game trailer purposely avoids showing gameplay and just has cutscenes with hot women. Keep in mind, this is the company that managed to go from the brilliance of Red Alert in the pre-EA days to the horrific mediocrity of Generals.

Nice ad but regaurdless... Starcraft 2 will overshadow this game horribly. That is what I await. C&C was never balanced correctly and I don`t expect this one to be either. After all Blizzard RULES the rts genre. Noone perfects it better.
