To those of you that are surpirsed by all of this, lots of ex-pats such as my self where well aware that something like this would happen and that it was a matter of time not "if". If you read the news and learned about fractional reserve banking or the monetary system of the US you would have known it was doomed from the start. The US dollar is no longer really backed by anything, not gold or manufactured goods its just paper at this point which less and less countries in the world want to have anything to do with. China manufacures everything for the US so what does the US make? You simply can`t back the dollar by a bunch of fast food chains and convenience stores, even call centers and customer service centers are abroad in india or some exotic area these days.

For those of you that thought this wouldn`t happen, you were living in a dream world and a massive state of denial. Ron Paul has been preaching this for a while now and many such as my self knew about the developing situation as much as at least 3 years ago...

Good luck to those of you that are going through tough times now, I sincerely hope you all will find a way because your country will not anytime soon...

A lot of people don`t realize this but economy should be highest priority for any government...

Unemployment = need better economy
Health care = need more money = need good economy
Education = need more money = need good economy
Foreign affairs = Trade = money = economy
Military = a WHOLE ton of money = need good economy
Oil = money = economy
Energy = need more money to develop = need good economy

Everything begins and ends with economy!! (except moral issues) How did we win the cold war? we have a better and stronger economy than Russia. Scientific advancement also requires money, innovation is not free.

If we are to elect a good leader, we need to elect someone who understands the economy and recoognizes its importance to a nation... and so far Obama and Mccain are either bashing each other`s economic POV or stating superficial solutions that ends up no where. I`m very disappointed we have to choose one of the lesser evils instead of someone capable like Ron Paul, thanks to heavy media bias.

It`s going to happen weither we like it or not.

I voted for him, even when people said it would be waste of a vote.

I stand firm ground knowing that he would of handled this country absolutely perfect, putting all of the other candidates down to the level of which they are, unintelligent clowns.

I hate to see someone as intelligent as Ron Paul not get the presidency. If McCain gets elected, Sarah Palin is going to be at a higher power than Ron Paul. Isn`t that shit just some fucking nutballs?

That statement is true in the word "handled". As in our current president has failed, so therefore turning against nearly everything that bush does (which if you know Ron Paul, it`s true) makes it way less fucking-retarded as you claim.

He would of handled George Bush`s fuckups quite easily. It`s the truth.
