That`s a shame about the fungus, but it`s good to see that they`re trying to do something about it. When I went to Panama everyone I met there cared a lot about the environment and conservation. That being said, there were plans to build a disneyworld just outside of Panama City, which is just a damn shame.

Also, love how when they do their wave it looks like they`re flipping them off.

A Disney World here in Panama? Never heard of that before. Where did you get that info? There are plans for an aquarium with dolphins and whatnot and another weird, farfetched construction in the sea (I`ve been thinking about posting its promotional video here).

About the frogs, yeah, there is some stuff messing them up. Even the ones that are on houses` yards... I`ve seen some that get pale and can`t open their eyes. Dunno if it is the same thing.

They have a bunch of these golden frogs at a hotel where anyone can go see them. It is kinda remote, so you have to travel quite a distance from the city. When I went there around 10 years ago, there were no frogs on that day though.

It is true what that scientist dude said... some people even buy them at $1500 each. The main cause of their endangerment is deforestation. That fungus thing is relatively recent.

Some of the other species they showed at the end almost looked alien, truly amazing and quite beautiful. I hope they score a cure for that fungus crap before too long :-/
