Seriously, I think tony hawk was more fun, tho it was a hellova unrealistic game... Anyway, I don`t think those two games should be comparased to eachother as they are so different.

...but thats only my opinion

Tony Hawk 2 was the best game in the series. Once they introduced the revert, the game degenerated into an endless string of ridiculous combo`s, and outrageous tricks. All you needed was a moderate skill in button combo memorization.

Skate focused on nailing one sick line, or even one sick trick - and reduced the penalty for failure to a half second of reloading to where you first started. It became more about skill and creativity than button memorization on one impossible line of combos. And for that, I believe Skate (though I still hate EA), is better than Tony Hawk by far.
