The cartoon was cool as shit but wtf is the music? It doesn`t even go with the animation storywise. Besides I can reproduce this beat in fruity loops in about 15 minutes and prolly add a cooler bassline. rap these days...or should I just call it talking normally with a beat.

dr. feelgood, there are plenty out there, two in particular are KRS-One and MF Doom..They never get radio play, you just gotta look em up, but they are as good as hip-hop ever was.

There are tons of amazing hiphop artists who toolon anything Kanye could ever hope to be. Here is a nice list of the goods:

Anticon( label, but lots fo good stuff)
Kool Keith( Probably the best abstract rapper of all times and probably one of the greatest inovaders of underground. Checkout his albums Dr Octogon, Black Elvis, and Dr. Notgatco)
Motion Man( One of the funniest MCs)
the list could go on and on and on. the thing you need to do when looking for good underground hiphop( the sort of stuff that belittles Dre with its very presence and humbles radio rap) is to find a good artist and then check out their label. Good labels for hiphop are:

Quannum, Anticon, Ninjatune, and more.

Unless you want gangster rap. Then you can dig a hole and hop in because that shit serve no purpose other then to perpetuate violence and glorify the sort of shit that gets people killed( Like Tupac and Biggy Smalls). Music with meaning that the what it says is meaningful. Gangster rap is not that.
