Amazing Blind Japanese Guitarist!

This guy is totally blind and absolutely shreds. The solo about 2/3rds in is better than most guys who can see what they are doing!! Very talented indeed.

how do you konw hes blind...hes also playing witha drum machine or with some cd, so it sounds better.

you dont really need to look any way when you play guitar...all you gota do is memorize where the frets are, and if you are any good you know any way...

its not that hard to play without looking. Hes just ultra experienced. I play without looking all the time. He just has to feel for the frets.

Why "air guitar" when you have a guitar right there and why would he be strumming at all the right times if he wasnt playnig? seems like it would be more work to fake it then to actually shred it up. 5/5

well, if ur blind, you have much better hearing and muscle memory. I've played violin for over ten years and I often play with eyes closed since playing fast has nothing to do with looking at the fretboard. Vision doesnt help much in the long run. Musicians here will know know what I'm talking about. 4/5 for amazing playing.

Oh my god, how can you even try to slag that guy off??? Did you see him play, who'd try and fake that playing the way he does??? Yeah playing an instrument blind is not a big stretch of the imagination since there are a few people who do it, but cmon that guy has some wicket skills!!! Lay off the criticism, he soo wasn't faking!!

No he wasn't faking, and even if he wasn't blind, he wasn't looking, yes hes not the only blind guitarist, but he still has mad skills 5/5
