I was so annoyed at the first Fast and Furious movie when Vin Diesel`s character won the drag race and said the line something like:

"That`s what happens when you go granny shifting and not double clutching like you`re supposed to."

I got so pissed at that line. I mean seriously, if hollywood wants to make a movie, don`t put ignorant lines in it like that.

Double clutching is only needed on vehicles that don`t have a synchramesh. All street legal cars have had them for decades. Double clutching would not make you go faster at all, in fact if anything it would slow you down. :|

This trailer for the new movie also shows them pulling off spin moves in cars that are just impossible in real life. Not to mention that small truck hitting the large truck off the side of the road. It`s like trying to knock a mailbox over with a tin can. Totally unrealistic.

Time to wake up Hollywood. Start making some movies that are intelligent and well thought out.

It doesn`t make sense. At 1:00 it has two trailers and at 1:07 it has one. Then a 1:12 it appears to crash in the missing trailer.

@agent009 - if you want realistic, rent a documentary.

Better yet, if you want to see cars only doing what the laws of physics allow them to, get some PBR and watch Nascar.
