Hehe, check for part two! The quality of the video has been much improved so it a larger file size and Im having to split them. The Renn was good but so frikkin long. I was so happy to get my butt back home and get things sorted out. My website has gotten a bunch of paying members that have been gracious enough to finance these upgrades. So hopefully, I can stay away from those huge festivals next yearand bring you guys some super cool stuff.

What do you think of them new fangled ceramic blades? No need for sharpening. Also stronger than steel too. Not to denegrate the time and skill you have put into your craft sir, just an honest question. Also, I have multiple knives that can benefit from your experience here. I hope to put your teachings into practice soon.

Ceramic blades do indeed require sharpening but they are much more resistant to dulling. As far as being stronger than steel, well, clearly you`ve never seen a ceramic in action. Most ceramic knives are very small and short (not because they are Caucasian or anything) because they are so brittle. Glass is harder than steel but no where near as tough. In knife terminology toughness is just as important as hardness. A razor sharp sword doesn`t do you a lot of good in eight pieces.

must be a problem with my browser because lately i havent been able to view some videos. is this one encoded for spiked? or embedded from some other site? if it is i think thats what the problem is.

thats too bad. your vids have always been so interesting!

Thanks Purgatory. Always had problems sharpening knives. Now I can sharpen my Kukri knife and decapitate some people with it.

Great Vid: Next time might I ask you to but some before and after segments? Just like cutting an apple or whatever. Be nice to have something to gauge the effectiveness of your technique
