First of all Mohammad is not a God to Muslims, he is a prohpet like Jesus Christ. There have been many Extremist Christians, JOhn Walker? KKK Groups? And another thing, there is no freedom of speech in Europe.....why are you not allowed to make fun of the Holocaust in Europe, but you can do something like this? Most people who claim to follow religion make me sick. I'm not a follower of any, but honestly, how can you be serious about your faith if you dont take offense to something like a prophet or the son of freaking god being ridiculed. What does that speak of your integrity? What does that mean for the respect you have for these things. Too many people in the world are disgustingly unfaithful to religion. The point of forgiveness isnt to sin, it's to put you at ease that the things you couldnt help but to do will be forgiven so that you wont be damned to hell for being human. Also, all people _ever_ do is use religion as an excuse for things. Who actually here has read their own holy book and follows it like it's meant to be followed, without any restriction or compromise. Do you think you can compromise with GOD? How selfish and narcissistic can people get? Either follow a religion properly or don't follow one at all. You SHOULD be angry that Jesus Christ is ridiculed. At least the general Muslim population still has the respect and strong faith in religion that Christians have pretty much all lost. I know they're a bit crazy at times (I was born a Muslim) but they fight for what they think is right the way they think is right. Christians just fight them for that fact. Just focus on your own damn religion and stop harrassing others for theirs. I say this for all religions. At one point I encountered someone saying that mirrors should be banned from houses because they distract us from God by making us narcissistic. Well screw that, if you really cared about God in the first place, it wouldn't MATTER if you had a mirror. You'd still be focused on him and get to see if you had a new zit on your forehead.

They also have stronger values, even if they aren't always the right ones. Christians should step back from their 'freedom and speech' and see that they're defiling their own religion.

Look Yazz,

simple fact of the matter is that is wrong to take someones life, or to cause bodily harm to someone because they are the country men of those who posted the cartoon. I saw the cartoon but i cant read arabic so i could not decrypt it. I dont know what it said, neither do i care what it said. But writting something on a piece of paper is different then bashing someones skull in or setting churches on fire. I saw the protests against the protests and in my book those people are true to thier faith. I have a muslim friend he tells me that being a a muslim is to have contempt for people, to be nice to people. I have read part of the Qauran (i dont know how to spell it), its almost verabatim of the Old Testament. I have nothing against anyone, but i think its propoustourous to yell war and to incite violence in the name of a good or religion that is supposed to be peacefull and loving. I dont control what the US does so your going to bash my head in because i am american. Come on you have to admit that just is illogical.

Look the best way they could of protested is to boycott, to peacefull protest in the street and to take thier cause to the people. I think that the owner of the cartoon was insensitve but its just one of those jokes you dont care about.
