The video kept kinda flip flopping between seeming legit and being a parody. Finally the end clinched it for parody. But if it were legit, the message is: God exists, he`s just being a big douche bag.

Cool that means I can write a book for my own religion and if anyone says it wasn`t true I say: "Of course it is true, it is written in my book. That is the ultimate proof."
Or do I have to wait thousand years until what I have written becomes fact?
But on second thougt, it worked for ohters during their lifetime. (A book becoming a "religion" not fact of course).

I don`t want to say noone should believe in a religion, it is up to them. I just want to say that this "proof" may contain a few flaws.

I have a friend who`s very atheistic and he claims a similar ring: "I can`t wait for religions to be a thing of the past."

I really don`t think this will EVER happen. Humankind will believe (or at the very least consider) supernatural beings/events occur because that is simply the way humans are. Hell, we`ve been living this way since the very first page of history was written and before. Religion has survived wars, cultural exchanges, World War II (which had acts of evil so great it`d make your fucking head spin), the Industrial Revolution, our first steps on the moon, and now the Information Age. If religious belief can survive all that then what the fuck do you think is finally gonna dethrone it?

ok look. think about what would happen if God actually DID make a leg regrow on live tv? what would happen? First people would go insane. there would be riots in the streets. Secondly, human advancement would stop...completely. If people didnt need to do anything for themselves, we wouldnt improve as people. We would expect God to do everything for us. Do parents do EVERYTHING for their children? at first yes, but eventually they let their children do things more and more by themselves, so they can grow up and not be completely dependent on their parents.

Also, I would like to ask why agnostics and atheists go mental when someone tells them about God and that he exists, but they seem to absolutely love telling believers that God doesnt exist.

How about this? fucking relax and live your damn life. sure, yes i might be wrong. God might not exist. but the chances are just as good that God does, so who the hell cares? its an impossible argument. so lets just stop yelling at each other about it, and deal with the CURRENT more important issues that we face now a days? With all the energy and creativity people are using to disprove God, they could use that to make anti war videos, or anti pollution, alternate energy sources research... something that could actually make a difference in the world.
