My history/econ teacher was in the National Guard.

Upon learning that he was a history teacher, one of his officers, also a teacher of history, asked him suddenly while he was in formation:

"Who was the cruelest military force in human history?!"

After a second of reflection he replied, "Sir, the Assyrians, Sir!"

"Wrong - its the Viet-cong!!"

A couple days later, the same officer came up to him, and angrily but softly said:

"You were right...the Assyrians were the cruelest of them all", and he stomped angrily back to his quarters.

xD

Ishtar lol!! I`ll grab that statue of her go back in time, cum on her face infront of the king of Assyria, then transport back. Oh hey KIRIFUDA the Assyrians were bad but the cruelest military force was the Mongols. a total of 30-40 million civilians were killed by the Mongols.

I`ve seen all the eps of this show that have been posted and I quite like it, however there`s something about the phrase "According to the Bible" that seems to lack in credibility.

The VietCong? Any one with a mild interest in the history of war would never have stated such a modern military. The most cruelest leaders were in the middle ages, where fear ruled. Rome was even more brutal than the Vietcong and Rome by comparison to others of their time, were modern and civilized.
