Hmmmm... interesting...but:

Searches like "Zeitgeist, Comparative Mythology" (or conspiracy vs most other terms)show a huge advantage to a crappy, poorly researched "documentary" than to an actual scholarly work of the same nature.

This suggests that the majority of Internet searchers are conspiracy wackos not wanting to do any actual thinking. At least in this example.

Now outside of the Internet, more people (and I am speaking anecdotally here) seem to have no idea what Zeitgeist is.

Ron Paul being the most popular on youtube doesn`t mean more people like him. Just that more Internet people do.

The media doesn`t control it, they do effect it greatly. Most people in the media don`t let him on the air that much simply because he is not a guy that draws ratings, for them he is just a guy running for president while Obama and Hillary are two very strange candidates, one black and the other one a woman. That`s "historical" in most people`s eyes so they give those two more attention than they probably should.

I absolutely agree with Jerry.

But there are sources of bias in his theory:

Youtube is international... So not everyone watching Ron Paul on youtube will be American. We have to take into consideration that people who check out these videos may not be of proper age to vote as well. So just because he`s a popular man on the internet doesn`t make him the most favorable for presidency in the U.S.

But this vid was very interesting with the comparisons of media coverage compared to Ron Paul and his rivals. Clearly shows how easily the media is capable of persuading the masses. Perhaps the most powerful tool of all time...

Like so many idiots, they express their opinion, showing bias, and thus we cannot trust his results regardless if they are true or not.

Had Jerry Day presented this with facts only, cutting out his opinion and bias, he would be more credible.

Since he did not, he can be dismissed.

^ The facts he presented would still be the same whether he showed his bias or not. More important is to simply look at the info yourself and see what conclusions you reach.

Showing Bias isn`t always bad, just think of Edward R. Murrow. Its when Bias trespasses into the realm of lies and mis information that it becomes a bad thing.
