how can anybody deny that there is no evidence about the NWO i have seen countless news reports and even presidents talking about it they`re called globalists there trying to get our world as a world government if you do your own research you`ll see it. Im not talking about the bible or doomsday im talking about our freedoms andcivil liberties. I mean I saw vid on spikedhumor just yesterday from keith olbermann talking about the american gov. knows that the american people know that there attempts at trying to scare people with terrorism doesnt work anymore so now they`re trying to turn there attention to the russians our old foe so again they can start implementing mor acts like the patriot act and homeland security to take away more freedoms.

oo!.. you must mean `crack-pot` research.. no I haven`t done any of that,
the only research I`ve done is reading Freedom House, the Human Development Index, and the Index of Economic Freedom that actually shows increases of liberties and rights and democracy itself..

right now America is ranked 17th on the Democracy Index but I still have i high hopes

edit: no, conspiracy theory videos have no merit to them, actually pick up a Human Development Report and get facts from a real, honest source of knowledge

@ kilopop19 yes research. For instance I am a cancer patient I take meds lots and lots of meds and the only drug that really does help is weed. But our government thinks its ok to take away my freedom of using a MEDICATION that really in fact helps with my hunger and nausea. Back to my point that the government is trying to control every aspect of our lives not crackpot research. Only the real truth. Another example is net nuetrality from what i have been researching the media is trying to now to make the internet like cable tv to where they limit what you can access on your isp in the next couple years. @cowpander: It`s the Mayan Calendar and it`s on December 21st 2012. However, it isn`t so much an end of the world thing as it is the end of a cycle and beginning of a new one according to Mayan beliefs.

However there is also more to it than that. On that particular day, the sun will align with the center of the galaxy. This is why this day is considered to be very significant. Somehow, the Mayans knew this hundreds if not thousands of years in advance. In fact, their calendar is the most sophisticated one to date.

Do some research on it. There`s quite a lot of info about it.

Penn and Teller always make me laugh even when I disagree with them. A lot of what`s shown in this video is just them being their wacky selves. I`m not taking them anymore seriously than I take a doomsayer seriously.

My philosophy is to live for today. Live today as if it was your last day. Because regardless of whether the world ends or not, your life will eventually.

It was a great watch nonetheless. 5/5

There are definably some tough times ahead for the human race. Society will undergo radical and violent changes, but I believe that it will be possible for the majority of the remaining population to carry on with a degree of civilization. I`m sure that we could at least work out something better for ourselves than living in a pile of sticks and leaves. Great post though.

Well of course you are right... tough times ahead, any idiot can anticipate that things aren`t always gona run smoothly. But what bugs me is that so many people are sooo narrow minded that they can`t see past there own lives & completely miss the big picture. People should pay more attention to history lessons... & pay attention to current events. As far back as written word has been recorded, somewhere, sometime, humans have been & are going through rough times... nothing has changed!!(the renaisance, world war 1 & 2, the black plague, the famines in africa etc..) except perhaps that the tougher times are getting less tough & less frequent. The tough times you fear for mankind... I bet if we asked a normal blow-joe living in Iraq right now, he`d tell you that those bad times your worried about started about 6 yrs ago.
Shit is inevitable... we just gota deal with it & learn.

I know where your coming from though. The tough times we are potentialy facing now are pretty scary.

My biggest fear is that of a nuclear holocost or the emergance of an unstopable virus - the former likely being an E.L.E for all life & therefore, no happy ending.

Recomend to anyone who hasn`t seen it - On the beach(i`ve only seen the new version... there`s an old 1958 version too) But it is a very confronting drama that revolves around a group of people living in southern parts Australia in a post nuclear war setting. The rest of the world is destroyed with the radioactive fallout slowly making it`s way south to totally evelope the globe. We see the last few months of their lives as humanity is ultimately snuffed out.

The end of the world, post apocolyptic is thought of by alot because it is a huge change to the world, a different world, a fantasy world. I keep wondering what it would be like IF... it is only an IF, I think it would be cool if it ended up like a Mad max type of world, or Jeremiah, Jerico type of casatrophy or a world where zombies became real, and what would i do. Who has not thought about that? I want the automatic shotgun.

I think it is dangerous to live in the future, plan for the future is fine but dont live in it. P&T are good at making the wack jobs look alot worse than what they are.

Actually I think end of the world prophecies is conspired by men over 50 to get laid at gatherings when the day arrives.
