The following is an abstract which I found illuminating and most of all humorous:

IS HOMOPHOBIA ASSOCIATED WITH HOMOSEXUAL AROUSAL?

The authors investigated the role of homosexual arousal in exclusively heterosexual men who admitted negative affect toward homosexual individuals. Participants consisted of a group of homophobic men (n = 35) and a group of nonhomophobic men (n = 29); they were assigned to groups on the basis of their scores on the Index of Homophobia (W. W. Hudson & W. A. Ricketts, 1980). The men were exposed to sexually explicit erotic stimuli consisting of heterosexual, male homosexual, and lesbian videotapes, and CHANGES IN PENILE CIRCUMFERENCE were monitored. They also completed an Aggression Questionnaire (A. H. Buss & M. Perry, 1992). Both groups exhibited increases in penile circumference to the heterosexual and female homosexual videos. ONLY THE HOMOPHOBIC MEN showed an increase in penile erection to male homosexual stimuli. The groups did not differ in aggression. Homophobia is apparently associated with homosexual arousal that the homophobic individual is either unaware of or denies.

I hate everything O`Reilly stands for but I`m glad his show is able to exist. The remedy to bad free speech is not to censorship but more free speech. So, if someone is attempting to offend you don`t try to censor them just speak the fuck up.

It`s fine with me if a channel hired an idiot to talk shit, I don`t care. But the problem is the “Bill O`Reilly show” is A NEWS show, to INFORM people.

Long time ago in a galaxy far far away, you could find a country where they HAD to fallow specific rules to ensure a unbiased transfer of information AND a format of set hours to do it. The Bill O`Reilly show would violate every rules in that old book now thrown in the garbage by your wonderful system.

I live in Canada, and EVERY news anchor [[[MOST NERVER]]] show any form of approval or disapproval of a news.

To make you understand, how far is that... - I was watching the news, and they covered the carnival “Just For Laugh” in Montreal, and at the end the reporter ask the new anchor if she liked the ambiance of the carnival. Well, she stared at the screen for like 5 secs and go: “I`m not allowed to like it or unlike it, but your coverage is very impressive!”

..Now that`s PROFESIONAL NEWS. Report an event...(the 5W`s) PERIODE.
Professional news is something USA forgot a long time ago and left with a monumental propaganda tool.

And u know what is the funny part of all that?... we copied YOUR laws.

Nowadays it seems that its cool to like fruity pebble people and if u happen to disagree, or not like it, you are suddenly "homophobic" and "intolerant".

Which is ironic, because when you force and expect everyone to accept the gay agenda - you are actually being intolerant of the viewpoints of others.

Gay people can do whatever they want behind closed doors - I really don`t care. I just don`t want their culture being shoved down my throat by MTV and other media outlets.

But I guess that makes me ignorant, not cool, homophobic and intolerant right.

And I can guarantee this will get voted down which will further prove my point.

what is the "Gay agenda"? as it`s explained in this video the gay agenda is convincing people to be tolerant of gay people. OH NOES! anything but tolerance! what would jesus say if he knew people were advocating TOLERANCE of all things on national tv!?

your basic argument is that not allowing you to persecute people translates to persecuting you, that`s just about the stupidest thing Ive ever heard. You do not have the right to infringe upon the rights of others so preventing you from doing so is not persecution.

It`s like saying civil rights laws are prejudiced against racists it`s a retarded argument Preventing someone from victimizing another does not translate to victimizing the initial attacker it`s really that simple.

Fryser I like your rebuttal and I am not going to argue with you that our news networks are fundamentally flawed. News is now driven in a battle for ratings and sponsorship. This fact is not ignored but criticized openly by shows like The Daily Show and The Cobert Report. We must all be responsible consumers of the news and if you encounter an idea you disagree with, then you must sharpen your arguments against said idea. The constant sharpening of ideologies against one another is the engine of progress; open criticism for all and by anybody is the guarantor of freedom.

The news is still out there if you look hard enough; National Public Radio (NPR) a non-profit radio station is a terrific source of unfiltered news which has a solid future. The internet perhaps the greatest place for free and open information must be protected and also be made available to more individuals; both of which are happening through market forces and by government regulation.

Fryser you should give people more credit for being able to make up their own mind, after all you did and there are a growing number of people like you.

Actually I`m a Cuban/Puerto Rican college student from Miami. I don`t watch Nascar, I listen primarily to Hip Hop, and don`t like Fox News.
